Trainwreck Auto’s buds grow quite thick, with plenty bright yellowish-orange hairs that wrap around the medium-sized calyxes, complementing the light-green nugs beautifully. Expect extremely dense buds that grow stacked and end up looking like one giant nug in each branch. You’ll be amazed by the trichome production, the sugar-dipped nugs with some colorful leaves coming out of them will leave your fingers full of resin and, as soon as you start grinding them, overwhelm you with a pungent lemony pine-sol with a touch of sourness and a spicy background.

Grow Tips for Trainwreck Auto
This variety doesn’t need any special attention and will grow great without any form of training but you can get even better yields by using any LST technique to space out the canopy. We recommend using 12L pots to allow your plant to grow to its maximum and shine. It’s recommended to flush for at least 7 days to make sure you wash the excess nutrients from the medium and roots, enhancing the already powerful terps even more and allowing you to experience the true flavor and aroma this strain produces.

About this strain: Trainwreck
Trainwreck is a cultivar with mysterious origins, most particularly about the meaning behind its name. Legend has it Trainwreck was so named because the original cut grew on a hill the same summer there was a train crash in the Humboldt region. Other sources claim the strain was named for the immediate slam of mental invigoration it had on users, which hit the mind like a runaway train.
According to the Seedsman blog, Trainwreck first emerged sometime in the 1980s from the Emerald Triangle region of Northern California. Trainwreck itself is thought to be a cross of several landrace strains, namely a Mexican Sativa, Thai Sativa, and Afghani Indica.
Lab tests show Trainwreck with high levels of the terpenes terpinolene, myrcene, and limonene, all of which contribute to its reported lemon and pine aroma. Consumers can point to its limonene content and moderate 14%-18% THC content for Trainwreck’s energy-inducing effects.

I got the chance to test all 5 of the new original strains. This one and the blueberry are my top picks of the 5. They were all great, don’t get me wrong, but this one just honestly ticks all the boxes for a grower. Taste-delicious, Growth- Fantastic; very low maintenance and easy going with training, Yield- has to be capable of a lot, I got over 100g in a tiny, crappy pot. 100% I will grow again and would recommend this one to first-timers/beginners for sure.

love every minute of this grow. from germination to harvest. She sprouted in about 15 hours, and cruised a long to chop day in about 70 days. I got about 130g off her in a 7 litre pot. i did apply lst and she took it very well. bud sites galore.

I got to try my buddy’s trainwreck since he was a tester for yous guys. i hadn’t smoked in a while and this was the first thing i started back up on. it hit my right in the head, then kind of trickled down into a full body effect. let’s just say the name of this strain is perfect in describing the effects. will be trying to grow my own soon, probably pick up a few others of these old school strains as well.

I was hella stoked when I saw Fast Buds dropped this one. One of my all time favorite strains over the years. I only grow autos now and usually go with Fast Buds strains, so this one has my name all over it. I’m about 63 days in and it already reeks of memories. I cant wait to try it.

Medium size buds that were very dense and colorful with a sweet aroma. High potency and powerful smoke. Nice internodal spacing grew a little taller than the others.

Great balanced plant, very good branch structure to hold onto the high amount of flowers, makes a good amount of trichomes and the flavors are very nice.
Wakenbake –
Easy to grow when you give her correct conditions. She took LST well and grew thick stem and branches that are really sturdy in mid/late flower and could support any bud weight. Shes deceiving and her buds are bigger than they look covering most of the well exposed branches. The buds were firmer than i was expecting and she gives off quite a strong smell. She got nice shades of pinks and purples during flush. Strong smoke. I needed to take it easy as i found it could cause anxiety and paranoia if your tolerance is low. You will definitely feel her ????
