Grow Tips for Strawberry Banana Auto
Make sure you have enough vertical space in your grow tent, this strain can grow up to 150cm so it’s recommended your tent is at least 200cm tall to avoid having problems in the last weeks of your grow cycle. Once the buds start fattening up they will get quite heavy so pay close attention to the branches and if you feel like they won’t be able to withstand the weight, use plant yo-yo’s or bamboo stakes to provide support and prevent them from snapping. Bred in Amsterdam by Reserva Privada — a subdivision of DNA Genetics — Strawberry Banana’s (also referred to as Strawnana) mother is a female Banana Kush from Crockett Family Farms crossed with a male Bubblegum selected from a pack of seeds originally bred by Serious Seeds.
The end result is a frosty, resinous bud that’s notably easy to grow in virtually any environment, both indoors and outdoors.
The strain has won several awards, including 1st Sativa Flower at the 2015 High Times Cannabis Cup, and 1st Judges Choice at Cannabis Cup Brazil in 2016.

Popped these on December 7th, Harvested in February… was a great run. Used coco and soil mix with floraflex nutes. Buds came out sticky and fat. Got around 375G off one plant.

Extremely frosty, beautiful bud shape and smell. Stretches more than the others, more sativa in it growth wise. Was one of my favorites, great for extractions. Also the best tasting Strain I think next to wedding glue.

I just grew 2 of these (DWC) for the first time. As an experiment, I performed LST on both and apical topping on 1. These plants took a few extra weeks, but WOW! The one that was topped was a very nice plant with 2 bushy main colas and fat branches around it. The plant that was NOT topped grew into a MASSIVE MONSTER!!! 5 feet tall and many FAT branches around (not tall from reaching). These plants gobbled up the nutrients and water more so than the other strains, and the yield was fantastic. The plant that was topped yielded 2 oz plus 4 g, and the plant that was not topped yielded a massive 7.5 oz!!!! What?! The 2 plants were so different in appearance that I almost thought I two different strains, but both were completely frosted and fragrant. I highly recommend this strain. I will say that this plant likes you to go heavy on the nutes, unlike most autos I’ve grown, so I did flush for much longer. I greatly enjoyed the grow. I highly recommend!

This cultivar was super easy to grow, she flourished outside where I started her in a solo cup. I up-potted to a 5 gallon and kept her outside till she started to flower and then brought her inside under an LED and had no issues. She was hardy and grew vigorously. I had her growing in a super soil I concocted myself and used nothing but organic amendments throughout her life. The smoke was very smooth and she stunk up the room when you opened the jar. She had a wonderful sense bud structure.. rock hard. Very tasteful smoke in and out and the higher THC content kept me content on my high for a while being an every day smoker. I would recommend again absolutely, I just popped a few more myself to keep a jar of it for my heady. Cheers.

My strawberry banana was very easy to grow. I do grow in coco under 18/6 lights. The plant grew very big buds and they are smelling amazing. The taste of my plant is very smooth. The weed is very strong and it gets you there. I harvested a little bit over 100 grams.

All three beans were large, dark-colored and looked mature. 3/3 germinated but it took them longer than usual – almost 48hrs. I don’t know if it’s me or the genetics. I’ve planted all three already, and one has sprouted. Will see how it goes.

I’ll train her next time around to see if I can squeeze even more weight out of her because of her height I had to prune lots of lower growth. Anyway, I’ve harvested over 3 zips dry from one of the plants and around 2.5 from each of the others. Not counting the ice hash from all those sugar leaves. The intense sweet fruity smell is something else!

this one’s a keeper: huge chunky colas, completely covered in frost, the trim leaves are an extractor’s dream. mine brought me just over 57 grams of closely trimmed superdense bud. the flavor wasn’t fruity for me at all but incredibly smooth and earthy with a delicious woody background. the high’s not really couchlocky. I can do whatever needs to be done and stay in the zone for hours.
