According to online sources, Sour Diesel gained prominence in New York in the mid-90s when breeder AJ (short for A**hole Joe,) accidentally pollinated a Chemdog 91 female with pollen from a Super Skunk he acquired during a trip to Amsterdam. The end result, Sour Diesel, was reportedly named for the way it soured business relationships as it spread through New York’s underground cannabis market, causing rifts as it changed hands among growers.

I decided to grow 420 Fastbuds Original Sour Diesel Auto this past summer as one in my outdoor garden. I used 5gal fabric pots and GH Flora series for nutes. Over all they stayed relatively small not getting over 18in tall. They finished with great baseball size main colas that smelled exactly like the name a sour gas tank. Was over all what I like to call a night time smoke. I say thst because you smoke it and your eye’s would immediately get heavy and feel as if you’d need to take a nap. I would definitely grow this strain again it was very easy and low maintenance not really needing any special attention but keeping the soil a little moist. In total she went 11 weeks from seed to harvest and averaged about an ounce a plant. I can say it’ll be one I most likely grow again. Highly recommended for any one looking for a heavy indica.
