Growing Tips for Mexican Airlines
The high percentage of Sativa genetics are quite uncommon with autoflowering strains, which typically display more Indica and Ruderalis phenotypes. As a result, we achieved a specimen with long light-green leaves and compact buds. The plant can reach 120 cm (4 ft.) when cultivated by expert hands. Its growth rate fires up just before flowering, and during this stage the plant’s aromas begin to become quite noticeable. For this reason we recommend using carbon filters when growing indoors. It is not a very capricious variety (doesn’t need a lot of care), and it develops well in all settings, but you must take care to prevent mildew and excess humidity during the end of the flowering.
This wonderful strain will be ready in 8 to 9 weeks, but if you want to get the full potential you should allow it to mature somewhat longer. An extra two weeks can result in a surprisingly primo harvest. Our Mexican Airlines is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. When grown indoors, it responds well to 14/10 light cycles, even though we advise that you provide it with 18 hours of light. Its buds are hard and resistant to disease, and the trichomes display nice blue and white hues. Even though it doesn’t need special care, if it receives enough solar energy the grower will be surprised at its yield, which can reach 500gr/m2 (1.1 pounds per light).

Mexican cannabis landraces grow in the region’s wide variety of climates, from desert regions to mountainous terrain. The higher elevation of Mexico’s mountains produces sativa-characteristic landrace strains, the most famous of which being Acapulco Gold. Typically, Mexican landraces form into elongated, spindly nuggets with loose, fluffy leaves covered in orange hairs. Exposure to cold air adds blue and purple hues to the buds’ leaves. Consumers report an earthy, mud-like odor with an added layer of skunk and peppery finish.

I’m not exactly sure which pheno i had, but I know this stuff fried my brain for 2 hour straight. I wouldn’t recommend this smoke for beginners 🙂 the taste and smell is great!!!! Very pure and easy smoking, no coughing. Very visual and confusing but still soothing.

Hi, I just gotta say THANK YOU!!!! You’ve created something wonderful! This is the first plant I’ve grown ever together with other 2. I was looking for a real Sativa high in Auto which is hard to find, and you have exceeded my expectations: All my plants grew no more than 40cm under LED, I used organic soil and nutrients. The Mexican Airlines was the only one that exhibited unparalleled vigor during its growth, it never became PH sensitive, never had nutrient locked up, it produced lots of healthy fat leaves but also lots of buds. The main Cola was fat and dense, the other buds were smaller but dense, I did staged harvest and had to trim many leaves to expose the buds at the end of flowering. The smell went from skunk at the begignning of flowering to total sweet mango at the end. The effects are strong, I didn’t find it that euphoric but absolutely uplifting and happy and the more you smoke the higher it takes you but always with a “safe” protective feeling. You feel like it covers you with a blanket and the plant is alive and it remembers you and doesn’t want to harm you anyhow, I would describe this as a sativa with an ultra-refined, quality, friendly, strong effect. It also has a good deal of pain relief but not Indica-style but Sativa, and I experienced this through a vaporizer when I had just cut it! not even dry! Imagine once it’s died and cured! I harvested about 1 ounce only but this is more than I got from the other strains I grew, which by the way, had nute locked up, ph sensibility and deficiencies, I didn’t measure PH in this my first growth. Only MA was resistant and healthy until the very end. Best weed I’ve smoked and it was my first harvest ever, how cool is that? Thank you.
